Peace at Home Nursing Services
Amanda has been working in healthcare for the past 20+ years, starting out as a Nursing Assistant in 2002. She obtained her Associates Degree in Nursing from Columbia Gorge Community College in The Dalles, OR in 2010 and went on to get her bachelor's degree from Linfield College in 2012. Since getting her nursing degree she has worked in long-term care, the acute care hospital setting, in-home care, and in nursing education as a clinical instructor. She has owned and operated Peace at Home Nursing Services and has been a Nurse Delegation Provider since 2014. Due to her diverse experience and passion for community nursing, she is well positioned to assist her clients and partners in supporting client health and well-being. Meet Sarah, an RN with her BSN from Concordia University, she has a passion for patient care and advocacy. With a background in correctional healthcare and a specialization in delegation she plays a pivotal role in our team professionally. Sarah's heart for communication and collaboration among healthcare professionals and optimizing client autonomy are what drew her to nurse delegation. Sarah is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of nursing practice and committed to making a meaningful impact in healthcare. In her spare time Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys reading, thrifting, a strong cup of coffee, baking and watching Friends reruns.
